Think Teachers are working with a 1.5 form entry primary school with 300 pupils on roll to appoint a year 4 class teacher to cover a maternity from February half term (an earlier handover could be possible). You must be committed for the entirety of the role and an enthusiastic, talented and committed class teacher to join the team.
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, be able to provide a minimum of 2 good references, attend interviews as dated and will be subject to Think Teachers safeguarding procedures.
The successful candidate will:
· Promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its values and ethos.
· Create and manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning.
· Plan and prepare lessons in order to deliver the National Curriculum ensuring breadth and balance in all subjects.
· Maintain good order and discipline among the pupils, safeguarding their health and safety.
· Be a part of the whole school team, including participation in staff meetings and ensuring effective use of support staff within the classroom.
