Think Teachers is seeking to recruit a part-time Teacher of Latin and Classical Civilisation to inspire and educate our extraordinary pupils. This role is part of the small, friendly, and highly successful Latin & Classics department starting in September 2022
MAIN PURPOSE:
Our teachers’ main purpose is to instil a love of learning and develop intellectual curiosity in all our pupils. Teaching must be excellent; learning must be exciting and consequently our pupils will receive outstanding results.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To contribute to the teaching of the Department, setting and marking pupils’ classwork and homework as appropriate and in accordance with the Department’s Assessment Policy
To maintain the upkeep of all classrooms, wall displays and other resources
To be aware of all Health and Safety factors relevant to classroom management.
To communicate with parents, tutors on the progress of pupils through report writing, Parents’ Evenings and other appropriate means
Ensure all pupils achieve their potential with respect to GCSE & A-level outcomes.
A flexible approach to all aspects of this role is essential.

Tact, discretion and listens whilst maintaining confidentiality.
Able to take responsibility for own area of work
