The post:


We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring, and enthusiastic Media Studies Teacher to join this school as their new Head of Department on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a candidate who is committed to maintaining high standards.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience, knowledge and understanding of teaching Media Studies to KS3/4 and KS5.


The successful candidate will have:


· Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent

· The ability to teach Media Studies to KS4/KS5

· The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results,

· The ability to enthuse students with a love of Media Studies

· Excellent classroom management skills

· Excellent organisational and ICT skills

· The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
