The School is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our highly effective and experienced cover team. We require a flexible, reliable, passionate and enthusiastic person with good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to cover classes when there are short term absences of regular class teachers.
You must enjoy working with young people and have a positive attitude. Ideally you will have significant experience of working with children within a school and or educational setting, be able to deliver effective, engaging lessons to students based on lesson plans and materials provided by absent classroom teachers and contribute to the exemplary behavioural philosophy of the school, cultivating a safe and respectful learning environment.
Duties will include supervising, assisting students with work and classroom management. Any qualification like a CELTA, a diploma in education and training or a Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools is desirable but not essential.

* Has experience of working with children and managing behaviour
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Has a good standard of Literacy and Numeracy
